Infinite Possibilities !
Aerial adventure parks set up in a forest setting are ACROBRANCHE premier product. The originality of the facility depends on characteristics of the site, which of course varies with each landscape, ie. the forest resources, the topography, and the requirements of the new owner.
Most tree species are suitable to accommodate our activities, however the larger the calliper of the trunk, and the height of the trees the greater the possibilities. A collection of trees, a wooded area or a combination of trees and rock faces are all suitable locations in which to install a tree based Aerial Park. Water features such as lakes, rivers or even ocean front serve as added aesthetic and adrenaline features.
With the flexibility our modular product can offer very little square footage is required to install something entertaining and exciting.
Whether in a Park, or a camp, users will find a special thrill in each activity: while attaining a sense of harmony with nature, which we endure to preserve through our environmental philosophies.
When there are not enough trees and rocks on-site, ACROBRANCHE suggest adding some artificial structures. By installing masts, towers and tripods, we can make up for the lack of structures, or create an open AAP in an otherwise vacant area. From this perspective, an AAP designed on artificial structures can easily be integrated in an amusement park, zoo, waterpark, resort or other outdoor leisure complex. Of course existing metallic/wood structures in these amenities can also serve as platforms for Zip-Lines and other Adventure modules.
The artificial-structure AAP is the most versatile of our products, since we are much less hampered by natural restrictions.
Acrobranche courses are also versatile enough to be affixed to interior support beams or support structures in existing buildings. With engineer approval we can design and install minutes- to- hours of Aerial Adventures. This is a unique opportunity to utilise an otherwise wasted and non-profitable space.
Even more Possibilities!
A via ferrata (Italian "iron road") is a mountain route which is equipped with fixed cables (zip-lines 250 feet or more in length), stemples, ladders, and bridges. The use of these allows otherwise isolated routes to be joined to create longer routes which are accessible to people with a wide range of climbing abilities. Walkers and climbers can follow via ferratas without needing to use their own ropes and belays, and without the risks associated with unprotected scrambling and climbing.
The first via ferratas were built in the Dolomite mountain region of Italy during the First World War, to aid the movement of mountain infantry.
Satisfying to both rock-climbers and families looking for adventure, AAP’s in a rocky setting are among the most impressive type, and are sure to have a very promising future.
